Waitlist for Patriot Leadership Award Gala Ticket
The interest in our 2023 Patriot Leadership Award Gala is so off the charts that we are starting a waitlist for everyone interested in attending. Tickets sold out but you want to attend the gala? The Waitlist Is The Place To Be.
We will open tickets as often as we can to individuals on our waitlist. Purchase a $1 “Waitlist Ticket” to be included on our waitlist. Individuals will be added in the order the “Waitlist Ticket” was purchased. Please provide name, a good telephone number and email address, and the number of tickets you would like in the NOTES section upon purchase of your “Waitlist Ticket.” Upon contacting the individual, they will be offered the opportunity to purchase gala tickets at $500 a ticket. Available quantities at time of call may only allow for purchase on 1 gala ticket. If we are unable to contact you, we will move to the next person on the waitlist and place your name at the bottom of the list.
The purchase of 1 gala ticket ($500) allows entry for 1 guest to our Patriot Leadership Award Gala to enjoy a welcome reception with open bar, seated dinner, wonderful program, opportunities to participate in live and silent auctions, and a Cookies & Coffee reception after the program.
On October 18th, the Military Women’s Memorial is hosting our 2023 PATRIOT LEADERSHIP AWARD GALA honoring BLAIR UNDERWOOD. This wonderful affair, celebrating the 26th anniversary of the Military Women’s Memorial supports the Memorial and our mission of honoring women who have answered the call to serve, and preserving and telling their stories of service. This year, it is our distinct honor to present the MWM Patriot Leadership Award to Blair Underwood for his work to bring national recognition to the women of the SIX TRIPLE EIGHT Central Postal Directory Battalion by executive producing a new stage play bound for Broadway called 6888: The Musical, a musical based on the first and only all-Black female Army battalion to serve overseas in World War II.
The Patriot Leadership Award recognizes women and men of extraordinary caliber whose actions and leadership have honored and empowered our nation's military women. It honors exceptional Americans whose inspirational service and selfless dedication embody the ideals and patriotism espoused by the over 3 million women who have served our country from the American Revolution to today.
